at a court held 16.1.1655 Jn Izerson was admitted to one messuage or cottage with a yard garden and appurtenances called Carters and to half of a well and at a court held it appeared that he surrendered the premises by the hands of to the use of his last will now at this court came Sarah Izerson widow of the said Jn and showed the will the tenor concerning the premises in the following and all my houses tenements buildings both free and copy I give unto my well beloved wife Sarah Izerson whom I make sole executrix she paying my debts and legacies and also it appeared that the said Jn lately died and had not sufficient goods and chattels to pay his debts and legacies and upon this the said Sarah was admitted etc and gave fine and fealty was respited
