at a court held 20.7.1650 Ralph Josselin clerk was admitted to one piece or parcel of land called Little Bridgemans with appurtenances abutting upon arable land called Loveland to the west and upon a way leading from Earls Colne to Colne Engaine on the north now at this court it appeared that he died after the last court so seised and that Jn Josselin is his son and heir who was admitted and gave fine etc
