at a court here held 24.7.1678 Jane wife of Ralph Josselin was admitted to a parcel of land called Stonelayes alias Stoneleyes adjoining next to divers lands called Inhams for the term of her life and after her death to the use of the person of person thing or things that Ralph Josselin by a writing under his hand and seal nominated and for defect of nomination then to the use of Rebecca Josselin one of the daughters of the said Ralph and to the heirs of Rebecca forever and at a court here held 20.3.1684 it appeared that the said Ralph had died upon which his last will was shown dated 1.6.1683 the tenor concerning the premises in the following words all other my lands unbequeathed I give and bequeath unto my only son Jn Josselin to enter on them 29.9. next after my decease together with Loveland Stoneleyes and Inhams that I bought of mr and mrs Fletcher now at this court it appeared that the said Jane died after the last court so seised and that the aforesaid Jn Josselin who was son and heir of the said Ralph is also dead and that Ralph Josselin an infant aged 1yr is son and heir of the said Jn who present here is court petitioned admittance (sic) and was admitted etc and gave fine and fealty respited
