at a court held 17.4.1713 Thos Algate was admitted to him and heirs to a parcel or cottage called Rushfeild against the south viz three rooms on the ground and one room above and all that yard or garden to them belonging as stretches to part of said yard to north from the middle chimney of said house up to the common road leading from Earls Colne to Tey Magna divided then in tenure or occupation of Robt Hutton and at a court held day of year said Thos Algate was admitted to him and heirs to another part of said cottage now in the several occupations of Jn Layer and Hen Hutton now at this court appears to homage that after last court Thos Algate died seised and that Thos Algate is his younger son and heir and under age who present here in court humbly petitions etc admitted etc to all and singular the premises with appurtenances fealty respited
