and also appears to said homage that out of court to wit 21.2.last past Francis Nelly of Poplar in county of Middlesex mariner and Rachel his wife customary tenants of the manor surrendered into hand of lord by rod by hand of Solomon Grimston gentleman deputy steward of the said manor etc she the said Rachel first solely and secretly examined by deputy steward and consenting all that tenement called Filbirds also Lophams and Windmill Hill and parcel of land to it belonging containing 2r more or less and also one croft of land or pasture called Walnuttree Croft containing 5a more or less with their rights and appurtenances situate in Earls Colne in tenure of Benj Crabb or assigns and held by copy of court roll to use of Jn Harrington junior of Tey Magna in Essex yeoman his heirs and assigns forever after which comes into court Jn Harrington and petitions etc admitted etc
