also at this court it is found by homage that on 12.1.last Geo Angier of Melford in county Suffolk surgeon a customary tenant of manor surrendered by rod into hand of lords by hands of Solomon Grimston gentleman deputy steward of manor all that messuage or tenement and backside containing 20p more or less called Morses sometime Smith's and after Baker's or by whatever name or names the same has been called or known with all the outhouses barns stables yards gardens orchards and appurtenances thereunto belonging situate lying and being in Earls Colne then or late in the several tenures of Plampin Wenden Jn Finch and Edw Spells their or one of their assignee or assigns are held of manor by copy of court roll and do adjoin to a certain copyhold tenement called Morses otherwise Bakers which Dan Gibson of Earls Colne lately purchased of Geo Angier to use of Jos Pond of Earls Colne butcher and assigns for his natural life and after his decease to use of Ann his wife and her assigns for her life and after her decease and decease of Jos Pond and the survivor to use of right heirs of Jos Pond forever whereupon comes into court Jos Pond and Ann his wife and humbly etc admitted tenants to said tenement and premises with appurtenances etc by annual rent of 2d1h suit of court etc Jos did fealty
