fine 10swhereas at the court with the leet here holden on saturday next after the feast of the apostles peter and paul 3.7.5Hen5 the bailiff was charged to seize into the lord's hands the third part of the whole and the profits issuing of the making of bast and of the crops to be felled and shrudd within the compass of the park which Jn Jegon lately took to farm of the lord so for default of the said Jn because he would not pay 10s yearly because he is poor therefore the bailiff charged to answer the lord the issues thereof etc and now at this court the lord granted and let to farm to Wm Everard of Halstead and Wm Pers of the same town (Halstead) the third part of the whole and the profits issuing of the making of bast and the crop to be cut within the hedges of the park to have and to hold to the said Wm and Wm and their attorneys during the nonage of Jn de Veer the son and heir of Rich de Veer late earl of Oxford paying therefore yearly to the lord and his attorneys 10s at usual terms etc and the said Wm and Wm have found security for the payment of the farm aforesaid viz Jn Hyne and Jn Maldon the lord's tenants
