Jn Clerke sueth Thos Bonyll in a plea of debt whereupon he saith that the said Thos unjustly detaineth 26d which he oweth him and the loss by release and hereupon he putteth himself upon the country and the said Thos being in the court saith that he oweth him no one penny as he declareth against him hereupon he pledges the law and the said Thos hath a day until the next court for his law himself and three hands with him for the same
