fine 2s6d and it is shown that Jn Bovyle chaplain Robt Atte Park and Jn Wryghte in a court here held on 12.11.4Hen6 surrendered one messuage built and situated between a messuage of Wm Atte Wode and a messuage of Roger Deynes to the use of Edw Whetherell upon extenuating conditions there expressed upon pain of reentry upon which by default of the conditions not being undertaken it was allowed to the same said Jn Bovyle chaplain and his friends by virtue of the conditions reentered the said messuage in their estate annuling the undertakings of Edw Whetherell and now in this court Jn Bovyle chaplain and Robt Atte Park and Jn Wryght surrendered into the hands of the lord the aforesaid messuage built and situated between a messuage of Wm Atte Wode sometime Buryes on one part and a messuage of Roger Deynes on the other part to the use of Wm Atte Wode to whom the lord by his steward granted thereof seisin to hold to himself and his heirs and assigns according to the custom of the manor saving the right etc upon the condition that the aforesaid Wm Atte Wode should pay or cause to be paid to the aforesaid Jn Bovyle Robt Atte Park and Jn Wryght or their attorneys at the feast of michaelmas.next 26s8d of good english money and at the feast of easter then next following 6s8d at the feast of michaelmas then next following 6s8d and at the feast of easter then next following 6s8d always of good english money without making waste or strip and if it should happen the aforesaid Wm Atte Wod should default in part or in whole of the aforesaid payments then truly it should be allowed to the same said Jn Bovyle chaplain and his friends to reenter into the aforesaid messuage with appurtenances and upon this Wm Atte Wode gave to the lord for a fine etc and made fealty etc
