fine 12d | to this court came Jn Bovyle and surrendered into the hands of the lord two pieces of land lying between his messuages on both parts whereof one piece contains within itself for a length of 18ft and in breadth 15ft and the other piece contains for itself in length 7rod and in breadth to one head 7ft and to the other head 3ft and in the middle 11ft which accrued to him by right of inheritance after the death of Thos Bovyl his father and sometime of Roger Sleyghtere and paying a rent to the lord per annum of 4d and the lord in possession by his steward granted the same the two pieces of land with appurtenances to the same said Jn Bovyle chaplain and Jn Bonjohn to hold to themselves and their heirs and assigns at the will of the lord by ancient services and customs saving the right etc and they gave to the lord for a fine etc |
