fine 12d | whereas it was presented to seize into the hands of the lord 16a of land parcel of a tenement of Bermans late of Jn Rouncy because the court was informed that the lord wanted the fine thereof and the return thereof of the profits as in a court with view here held on the tuesday in pentecost 3.6.16Hen6 it fully appeared was testified there and enrolled that Jn Mille Jn Hyne and Jn Bray lately tenants of the same said land surrendered it into the hands of the lord by the hands of Jn Turnor at that time bailiff of the manor in the presence of Rich Skynnere Jn Wright and others of the homage according to the custom of the manor to the use of Robt Kent Jn Payn and Firmin Tyler and their heirs and upon this into this same court came the said Robt Jn Payne and Firmin and placed themselves upon the lord's grace and sought admittance for themselves to the aforesaid land with appurtenances in the form of the aforesaid surrender and it was granted to whom the lord by his steward granted thereof seisin to hold to the same their heirs and assigns from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord by the ancient services and customs saving the right etc and they gave for a fine etc and made fealty etc |
