fine 40d and at this same court it was shown by the homage that Robt Audele in his lifetime upon his death bed surrendered into the hands of Wm Kyrwyn the lord's bailiff in the presence of Jn March Jn Herset and other of the lord's tenants the same testifying according to the custom of the manor one tenement with appurtenances sometime of Gunnar Turnor late of Rich Multon to the use of Alice Audele his wife to whom it was granted thereof seisin to hold to the same said Alice and her assigns from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord and according to the custom of the manor returning to the lord as a rent per annum 8d annually at the terms of the manor and she gave for a fine etc and made fealty
