garden of the other part one head abutting on the highway leading toward Colchester to the use of

to whom the lord granted seisin thereof to hold to him and
Geof Audeley
their heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod on form and condition following viz that if the said

pay or cause to be paid to the said

40s in manner following viz in

following the date of this court 5s and at the feast of pentecost then next following 5s and so from feast to feast and year to year one after another etc and always at every of the feasts aforesaid 5s until the said 40s be fully paid and if there be default in any payment of the payments aforesaid in part or in whole at any feast of the feasts etc it shall be lawful for the said
