John Wrights | fine 12d it is found by the homage that Wm Bury which held jointly with Rich Woodstocke deceased to them and their heirs according to the custom of the manor one cottage with a garden adjoining and the appurtenances called John Wrights the same Wm Bury out of the court and since the last court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Wm Beald one of the lord's tenants in the presence of Wm Swattocke likewise one of the lord's tenants the same witnessing the same cottage and garden with the appurtenances to the use of Thos Hunte and Agnes his wife their heirs and assigns and because it is so found by the homage therefore they are admitted the lord's tenants to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to them and the heirs of the same Thos of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor and they give the lord for fine and made fealty to the lord |
