X | fine 6d it is found by the homage that
Wm Choppet
clerk out of the court and before the last court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of
Wm Orvys
one of the lord's tenants in the presence of
Thos Waller
likewise the lord's tenants and other the same witnessing one garden customary with the appurtenances called
Lavenhams
also called
Orlegersgarden
and sometime called
Drapersgarden
in Colne aforesaid to the use and behoof of
Thos Harrison
and
Alice
his wife and their assigns during all the term of their lives or either of them longer living and after the decease of the said
Thos
and
Alice
and either of them longer living to remain to the churchwardens of Colne aforesaid and their successors to sell and the money thereof coming to be disposed in works needful in the said church which
Thos
and
Alice
being present in the court came and craved to be admitted thereunto and because it is so found by the homage therefore they are admitted the lord's tenants to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold etc and they give fine etc and made fealty
