Boomes Tenement Xfine 3s to this court came Rich Smythe and surrendered into the lord's hands one rentary and garden adjoining in Colne Street sometime Wm Boome's and late Jn Bieston's in Colne Street as etc to the use and behoof of Jn Prentice his heirs and assigns who being present in the court came and craved to be admitted thereunto and he is admitted the lord's tenant thereof to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod etc and he giveth fine etc and made fealty and yet this present surrender and seisin thereof delivered is made on condition following viz that if the foresaid Rich Smythe his heirs or assigns pay or cause to be paid to the foresaid Jn Prentice or his certain attorney or his executor 6li13s4d sterling in the feast of the purification of the blessed marie the virgin next coming after the date of this court in the said messuage lying in Colne Street that then this present surrender and seisin thereof delivered shall be void otherwise it shall stand in all his strength and effect
