Garlands with a garden adjoiningfine 3s4d it is found by the homage that Robt Byeston# out of the court and since the last court lying on his death bed surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Jn Estay one of the lord's tenants in the presence of Clem Sparrowe and Jn Ruffle likewise the lord's tenants and other the same witnessing one tenement called Garlands lying in Colne aforesaid viz between the tenement late Joan Mugge's widow on the west part and the land late Jn Booner's now Jn Mallaries on the east part one head thereof abutting upon the tenement of Geo Bieston toward the north as etc to the use and behoof of Joan his wife for term of her life to remain after her decease to Agnes his daughter and her heirs which Joan by Thos Hatche her attorney came and craved to be admitted thereunto and because it is so found by the homage therefore she is admitted there lord's tenant thereof to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to the hands of her attorney aforesaid to hold to the same Joan for term of her life of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor etc to remain after her decease to the aforesaid Agnes the daughter of the foresaid Robt and her heirs etc and the foresaid Joan giveth fine etc and made fealty
