Agnes Sparrowe
widow late the wife of
Jn Sparrowe
deceased who held jointly together with the foresaid
Jn
her husband to them and their heirs
(sic)
during the term of their lives and the longer liver of them of the lord as of this manor by the rod certain lands called
Gosses the Reve
as etc to remain after their decease and the longer liver of them to
Antho Sparrowe
son of the foresaid
Jn
and
Agnes
and his heirs as in the leet with the court here holden on
friday next after the feast of st james the apostle in the 32Hen8 30.7.1540
more at large appears died since the last court of such estate seised and hereupon to this court came the foresaid
Antho Sparrowe
and cr aved to be admitted to the foresaid land called
Gosses
by reason of the remainder aforesaid and because it is so found by the homage therefore he is admitted the lord's tenant thereof to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor and he giveth fine etc and made fealty
