1r Sandhill Xfine 4d it is found by the homage that Agnes Sparrowe widow late the wife of Jn Sparrowe deceased who held jointly with Jn Sparrowe her husband to them and their assigns during the term of their lives and the longer liver of them of the lord as of this manor by the rod etc one croft of land containing by estimation 1r of land called Sandhill to remain as in the former surrenders (to Antho Sparrowe ) as in the leet with the court here holden on friday next after the feast of st james the apostle in the 32Hen8 30.7.1540 more at large appears died since the last court of such estate seised and hereupon to this court came the foresaid Antho Sparrowe and craved to be admitted to the said croft of land by reason of the remainder aforesaid and because it is so found by the homage therefore he is admitted the lord's tenant thereof to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor and he giveth fine etc and made fealty
