parcel of Lowfield Xfine 6s8d it is found by the homage that Joan Ots widow late the wife of Thos Ots and before the wife of Rich Garrard deceased who held to her and her assigns during the term of her life of the lord as of this manor by the rod etc of the surrender of the foresaid Rich her husband one parcel of land parcel of Lowfield as by the metes and bounds etc to remain after the decease of the foresaid Joan to one Jn Garrard son of the foresaid Rich Garrard deceased and the heirs of his body lawfully begotten and for default of such issue to remain after his decease to Nich Garrard the other son of the foresaid Rich Garrard deceased and the heirs of his body lawfully begotten and for default of such issue to remain after his decease to the executors of the said Nich Garrard to sell and the money thereof coming to be bestowed in works of charity for the soul of the foresaid Rich his parents and all the faithful deceased as in the leet with the court here holden on tuesday in the week of pentecost in the 19Hen8 11.6.1527 more at large appears the foresaid Joan died since the last court of such estate seised and hereupon to this court came the foresaid Jn Garrard and craved to be admitted to the foresaid parcel of land with the appurtenances by reason of the remainder aforesaid and because it is so found by the homage therefore he is admitted the lord's tenant thereof to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to have and to hold to him and the heirs of his body lawfully begotten of the lord by the rod etc and for default of such issue to remain as before etc and he giveth fine etc and made fealty
