Sebrights Xfine 3s it is found by the homage that Geo Chatterton out of the court and before the last court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Jn Estey the vicebailiff in the presence of Thos Roote and Jn Pennocke the lord's tenants and other the same witnessing one messuage called Sebrights as by the metes and bounds etc to the use and behoof of Edith his wife now the wife of Rich Scyday during the whole term of her life to remain after her decease to Geo Chatterton son of the foresaid Geo of the age of 3yr and more and his heirs always provided that if it happen the said Geo to die without issue the said Edith his mother living that then the foresaid messuage with the appurtenances shall remain to the foresaid Edith and her heirs according to the form force and effect of the last will of the said Geo the father deceased which Edith being present in the court came and craved to be admitted thereunto and because it is so found out by the homage therefore she is admitted the lord's tenant thereof to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to have and to hold to her and her assigns during the whole term of her life of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor to remain after her decease to the foresaid Geo Chatterton and his heirs and giveth fine etc and made fealty
