fine 2s6d to this court came Thos Spycer and in the open court in his proper person surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of his steward one piece of meadow containing 2r of land customary parcel of 2a of land lying under the lord's park called Colne Park as by the meets and bounds etc the foresaid 2a lie between the land Chewniesland toward the south and the meadow of Wm Fisher parcel of Heyhouse land toward the north one head thereof abutting upon the common meadow of the lord's tenants towards the east and the land of Rich Orvell towards the west as by the meets and bounds etc to the use and behoof of Jn Culverton his heirs and assigns who being present in the court came and prayed to be admitted to the premises to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor and he giveth fine and made fealty and is admitted the lord's tenant
