fine 30s it is found by the homage that Nich Parker that held to him and his heirs of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord certain customary lands with appurtenances called Gosses the Reve lying in Colne aforesaid as by the meets and bounds etc as in the leet with the court here holden on tuesday in the week of pentecost 27.5.4Edw6 more at large appears died seised of and in the foresaid lands according to the custom of the manor and they say further that Rich Parker is his son and next heir and of the age of 16yrs and more who by Roger Potter his guardian and attorney in this behalf came and prayed to be admitted to the premises to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents and services therefore due and of right accustomed and he giveth fine etc and made fealty and is admitted the lord's tenant
