fine 10s | it is found by the homage that Jn Pennock and Geo Pennock who held to them and their heirs of the lord by the rod etc 1a2r of meadow lying in two parcels under the lord's park with all and singular with the appurtenances as by the meets and bounds etc as in the leet with the court here holden on tuesday in the week of pentecost 2.6.20Hen8 more at large appears the foresaid Jn and Geo out of the court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Robt Peerson and Rich Ennowes the lord's tenants the same witnessing the foresaid 1a2r of meadow as by the meets and bounds etc to the use and behoof of Jn Culverton his heirs and assigns whereupon after the surrender made to the said Jn Culverton and before the court the said Jn Culverton by force of the surrender aforesaid having right to the premises died of such estate seised and at this court it is found by the homage that Thos Culverton is his son and next heir who being present in the court came and prayed to be admitted to the premises to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents and services etc and he giveth fine etc and made fealty etc and is admitted the lord's tenant |
