fine 10sit is found by the homage that Thos Gore that held to him and his heirs of the lord by the rod etc the reversion of one croft of land enclosed containing by estimation 3a3r of land parcel of a croft of land called Barcrofte containing in the whole by estimation 6a of land and the foresaid parcel lieth between the land of Robt Allen called     of the one part towards the west and the land of Lewice Jegon late parcel of the said Barcrofte towards the east one head thereof abutting upon Barecroft Lane towards the south and the other head upon the garden of Wm Halden towards the north as by the meets and bounds etc when it shall happen by and after the death of one Joan Allen widow on condition of payment of divers sums of money as in the last will and testament of one Edm Allen manifestly appears as in the leet with the court here holden on tuesday being 25.9.7Eliz1 more at large appears the foresaid Thos Gore died of and in the foresaid remainder seised and they say further that Jn Gore is his brother and next heir who being present in the court craved to be admitted to the reversion aforesaid to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents and services etc and he giveth fine etc and is admitted the lord's tenant and his fealty is respited until etc
