fine 6sit is found by the homage that Robt Reve that held to him and his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord etc one tenement or cottage with a garden adjoining and the appurtenances called Goolds situate lying and being in Colne aforesaid sometime Thos Brett's and late Wm Haweden's as in the court roll here holden on tuesday in the week of pentecost 8.6.3PhM more at large appears surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Thos Polly the lord's customary tenant in the presence of Robt Reade and Thos Hunte likewise the lord's customary tenants the same witnessing the foresaid tenement and other the premi ses with appurtenances to the use and behoof of Wm Inman clerk his heirs and assigns who being present in court came and prayed to be admitted thereto to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents and services therefore due and of right accustomed and he giveth fine etc and made fealty and is admitted the lord's tenant
