fine 3s4dit is found by the homage that Lewice Jegon that held to him and his heirs of the lord by the rod etc one piece of land by estimation 1a of land or more etc late parcel of the croft of land called Beercroft as it lieth in Colne aforesaid viz between the land late Thos Christmas now Barth Churche late parcel of the said croft of the one part towards the east and the land now Hen Smythe's the residue of the said croft called Beercrofte on the other part towards the west one head abutting upon the way leading from the Colne church toward Colne Park towards the south the other he ad upon the garden of the tenement of Rich Holborowe toward the north as by the meets and bounds etc as in the court here holden on tuesday in the week of pentecost     Edw6 more at large appears died since the last court thereof sole seised and that Jn Jegon now of full age is his son and next heir and hath right to the foresaid piece of land who being present in court came and prayed to be admitted the lord's tenant as to his right and inheritance to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered by the rod to have and to hold the foresaid piece of land to the foresaid Jn Jegon his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor etc
