fine 20sto this court came Rich Horsepette and Grace his wife late the wife of Robt Ennewes deceased and the said Grace being alone and secretly examined by the lord's steward her husband being by and in the full court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of his steward one messuage with a barn and garden adjoining with appurtenances called Joldens which messuage with the barn and garden adjoining the foresaid Robt Ennewes and Grace his wife had and took to them and their heirs forever of the surrender of Jn Archer as in the court here holden on monday b eing 11.4.17Eliz1 more at large appears to the use and behoof of Robt Rooks his heirs and assigns who being present in the court came and prayed to be admitted thereto to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to have and to hold to him and his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod etc and he giveth fine etc and made fealty
