instead of the bailiff in the presence of

the lord's customary tenants and other the same witnessing one piece or parcel of the foresaid two parcels containing by estimation 2a or more or less as by the hedge and ditches it is en closed lying near a certain way leading to the common meadow in Colne aforesaid to the use and behoof of
Wm Bunner
his heirs and assigns on condition following viz that if the foresaid

his heirs executors or assigns pay or cause to be paid to the foresaid

his heirs executors or assigns 6li of lawful money of England on the
24.6.1581
in the south porch of the church of Colne aforesaid that then this present surrender and seisin thereof shall be void and of none effect and that then it shall be lawful to the foresaid

his heirs and assigns licence being first obtained thereto into the foresaid parcel of land to reenter and the same to have again as in his former estate or otherwise it shall stand and be in all his force and effect now to this court came the foresaid

and craved to be admitted to the foresaid parcel of land according to the form and effect of the surrender aforesaid to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod etc
