fine 26s8d it is found by the homage that Jn Orvis clerk that held to him and his heirs of the lord by the rod etc one customary tenement with appurtenances called Mordens in Colne aforesaid as by the copy of court roll here holden on tuesday in the week of pentecost 7.6.33Hen8 more at large appears out of the court and since the last court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Robt Reade instead of the bailiff in the presence of Thos Leffingwell and Robt Rooks the lord's customary tenants and other the same witnessing the foresaid tenement with the appurtenances to the intent that the lord being thereof so seised might regrant the said tenement with appurtenances to Jane the wife of the said Jn Orvis clerk and her heirs and assigns by virtue whereof the lord being thereof so seised regranted out of his hands the foresaid tenement with appurtenances to the foresaid Jane and by his steward there is seisin thereof delivered to have and to hold to the same Jane her heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the wi ll of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents and services therefore before due and of right accustomed and she giveth fine etc and made fealty and is admitted the lord's tenant
