fine 20s it is found by the homage that Rich Peare that held to him and his heirs of the lord by the rod etc one barn now a tenement with a garden adjoining with the appurtenances called Pannells as by a copy of court roll here holden 17.8.23Eliz1 more at large appears out of the court and since the last court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Robt Carter and Thos Allen the lord's customary tenants and other the same witnessing the foresaid tenement and garden with the appurtenances to the use and behoof of Albery Pryor his heirs and assigns yet on the condition following viz that if the foresaid Albery Pryor his heirs executors and assigns pay or cause to be paid to one Nich Cheborne of Lucton alias Lowton in the county of Essex gentleman or his certain attorney executor or assign at Blackwater Mylle in the parish of Pattiswick in the said county of Essex 9li6s8d of lawful money of England in manner following viz in 1.5.next 26s8d and so in six years then next coming 8li the residue viz in every of the six years by itself always on 1.5. 26s8d in full payment of the said 8li whereupon now came the said Albery Prior and prayed to be admitted to the premises according to the form and effect of the surrender aforesaid to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered by the rod etc to hold to him his heirs etc on condition aforesaid etc by the rod etc
