fine etc at this court it is certified by Thos Gent serjeant at the law head steward of this manor and found by the homage that out of the court and since the last court viz 28.11.27Eliz1 there came before the foresaid Thos Gent then serjeant at law and head steward of the manor aforesaid Thos Cocke that held to him and his heirs of the lord by the rod etc one messuage rentary and garden adjoining in Colne Street late Wm Boomes alias Bromes since Jn Bieston's and 3a of land enclosed lying near Hynesland with the appurtenances or more etc as by copy of court roll here holden 17.9.21Eliz1 more fully appears and surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of the said steward in the presence of Robt Sharpe deputy of the said head steward all the premises with the appurtenances to the use and behoof of Thos Felton gentleman his heirs and assigns who by Rich Heyward his lawful attorney in this court came and prayed to be admitted thereunto to whom to the hands of his said attorney by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered by the rod etc to have and to hold etc
