it is found in the court here holden 12.9.28Eliz1 that Agnes the wife of Wm Veysy and before the wife of Robt Sayer took by copy by the assent of her husband of the lord's grant for term of the life of the same Agnes one cottage lately built upon parcel of the waste soil of this manor containing in length 45y and in breadth at one end 10y and at the other end 4y one head thereof abutting toward the south west and the other toward the north west and it lieth between the land then of Wm Finche of the one part toward the east and the highway there leading from Colne aforesaid toward Colne Park on the other part towards the west to hold by fealty suit of court and rent of 6d by the year to be paid at the usual terms and the same Wm and Agnes being now required came not but made default therefore they are in mercy 4d
