it is found by the homage of this court that Abrm Bridge out of this court and since the last court of this manor surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Edw Reade bailiff in the presence of Humph Brocke and Jn Warde customary tenants of this manor the same witnessing the moiety of one cottage with a yard called Coopes lying between the messuage sometime of Steph Miller of the one part and the garden late of Jn Wright of the other part one head thereof abutting upon the highway leading from Colne aforesaid towards Colchester and the reversion of the other moiety of the said cottage with a yard sometime called Coopes lying at Collfordhill between the messuage sometime of the said Steph Miller of the one part and the garden late of Jn Wright of the other part one head thereof abutting upon the highway aforesaid when it shall happen by and after the death of Agnes Man the wife of Thos Man and a parcel of waste at Collfordhill aforesaid upon which one Wm Swattocke lately built a swinesty containing in length 13ft and in breadth 12ft the foresaid swinesty only excepted to which premises except before excepted the same Abrm was admitted by virtue of the surrender of Edm Potter as in the last court of this manor here holden 18.9.1589 etc to the use and behoof of Jn Bruer glover and his heirs to whom the lord by his steward aforesaid delivered seisin of the premises except before excepted to have to the same Jn Bruer and his heirs to hold of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor and by fealty suit of court and rent     by the year and by all other customs and services therefore b efore due and of right accustomed and hereupon the same Jn Bruer for such his estate aforesaid in form aforesaid to be had made fine and fealty with the lord and so is admitted the lord's tenant in form aforesaid
