fine 3liwhereas at the court leet here holden on monday 5.1.32Eliz1 Jn Churche was admitted the lord's tenant to him and his heirs of the surrender of Thos Bridge and Ann his wife to one croft of land called Spoutcroft alias Ryecroft holden by the rent of 5s6d1h as by the roll of that court shown in this court appeareth etc now it is found by the homage aforesaid that since the last court and out of the court the foresaid Jn Churche surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Hen Abbott (may be Hen Abbott) instead of the bailiff in the presence of Robt Knight Thos Pollie the elder and Jn Knight customary tenants the same witnessing according to the custom of the manor aforesaid the aforesaid croft of land called Spoutcroft alias Ryecroft with appurtenances to the use and behoof of Edm Potter and Margt his wife and the heirs of the same Edm Potter forever to which Edm and Margt the lord by his steward aforesaid granted seisin thereof to have and to hold to them and the heirs of the said Edm of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents aforesaid by all other services and customs therefore due and of right accustomed and they made fine and fealty and are admitted the lord's tenants
