whereas at the leet with the court here holden on monday 1.10.13Eliz1 Joan Tracer was admitted the lord's tenant to her her heirs to one tenement or cottage with appurtenances called Brays and 21y of a common yard as by copy of the roll of the same court brought and shown here in court appeareth now it is found by the homage aforesaid that since the last court and before this court the foresaid Joan Tracer died seised of the premises of such estate as aforesaid and that Marian the wife of Jn Peartree and Edith the wife of Hen Bridge are cousins and next heirs of the said Joan Tracer viz daughters of Jn Tracer brother of the said Joan and have right to the premises whereupon the lord by his steward aforesaid granted them seisin thereof to have and to hold to them and their heirs of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents services and customs therefore due and of right accustomed and they made fine and fealty and are admitted tenants and afterwards came the aforesaid Jn Peartree and Marian his wife and the said Marian being alone and secretly examined by the lord's steward as the manner is did surrender into the lord's hands by the hands of the said steward all her purport and interest of and in the said tenement or cottage aforesaid called Brays with appurtenances to the use and behoof of the before named Hen Bridge and Edith his wife and the heirs of the same Hen forever to which Hen and Edith here present in court there is granted seisin of the premises to have and to hold to them and the heirs of the said Hen of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents services and customs therefore due and of right accustomed and they made fine and fealty etc
