know present and future that I Thos Sorell of Earls Colne Ralph Kebbyll and Jn Tredgold glasier of Earls Colne aforesaid do give and grant and by this present deed rightly confirm to Wm Parkeer of Colne Engaine Jn Baylie miller and Wm Bakere of Earls Colne aforesaid one croft of arable land situate in Earls Colne (390) viz between the king's highway leading from Colne aforesaid towards Cogishale on the one part and land called Litilreycroft on the other part one head thereof abutting upon land sometime Thos Webbe's the other true head thereof abutting upon land called Mochelreycroft as indeed the croft of land we the aforesaid Thos Sorell Ralph Kebbyll and Jn Tredgold glasier late had from the grant and release of Jn Brekeman to have and to hold the aforesaid croft of land with all its appurtenances aforesaid to Wm Parkeer Jn Bayle miller and Wm Bakere with their heirs and assigns forever of the chief lords fee there by services then owed and of right accustomed and I the aforementioned Thos Sorell and my heirs the aforesaid croft with its appurtenances to the aforesaid Wm Parkeer Jn Bayle miller and Wm Bakere their heirs and assigns against all people shall warrant forever in witness whereof to this present deed we do set our seals these witnesses sir Wm Nobele vicar of the church of Colne aforesaid Ralph Awdele Jn Turnoor Jn Bakkere bailiff of the lord earl Jn Bakkere junior and others given at Earls Colne aforesaid 16.4.6Edw4
