who saith he was born at Little Cornard in the county of Suffolk and that he let himself for one year to one

of the parish of Whison in the said county of Suffolk at the wages of 5li10s and served the said year duly and truly and received his full wages and that afterwards he went into the parish of Great Tey in the said county of Essex where he hired a parcel of land and a dwelling of the yearly rent of 12li a year and held the said hire about four years in the said parish of Tey and that he hath never done anything since to gain a settlement elsewhere sworn before
