in the name of god amen the 28.8.1609 I Margt Pullen of Colne Engaine in the county of Essex widow being sick in body but of perfect memory do make and ordain my last will and testament in manner and form following viz first I commend my soul unto my almighty god hoping of eternal life and redemption through the precious bloodshedding of jesus christ my saviour and my body I will to be decently buried in christian burial where it shall please mine executor item I give unto Marie my daughter now the wife of Wm Edies the table and form in the hall and the benchboard and painted cloths in the same hall and a trundle bed if she be living and if she be dead then I will and bequeath the said table form and benchboard and painted cloths and trundle bed unto Osyas Tiler my son item I give unto (torn) said son Osias Tyler a little cupboard standing in the chamber where I lie and a pewter platter a basin and a round table in the sollar and a great chest in the chamber over the kitchen item I give unto Jane my daughter my best gown item I give to Edith Clarke (may be Edith Clarke) daughter of Jane my daughter the bed and bedstead wherein I now lie with all the appurtenances a bed a bedstead in the chamber with the furniture two brass pots two kettles a spit a candlestick a gridiron two trammels a cobiron a basin a chest in the chamber where I lie and my old gown and a table in the kitchen and all the shelveboards in my house item I give unto the aforesaid Osias Tiler my two silver spoons all the rest of my movable goods money and chattels I give and bequeath unto the foresaid Jane my daughter whom I make executrix of this my last will and testament to see my body decently buried my debts paid and my legacies performed in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand the day and the year first above said in the presence of these witnesses whose names are hereunder written and I will that the said Jane my daughter shall have the use and custody of all the goods formerly given and bequeathed to the said Edith her daughter during the life of her the said Jane mark Margt Pullen Jn Hunwicke Ambr Waller Robt Cobbe
