sen of Earls Colne in the county of Essex yeoman being sick in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be given to god do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following viz first I bequeath my soul into the hands of almighty god my creator and to jesus christ my redeemer and my body to the earth from whence it came to be decently buried item I give and bequeath unto
Joan
my wife my cottage and garden called
Clovers
with the appurtenances situate and being in Earls Colne aforesaid wherein I now dwell during the term of her natural life upon condition that she shall bring up

my grandchildren until such time as they shall attain to their several ages of twenty one years and after her decease I give the said cottage and garden with the appurtenances unto the said
