in the name of god amen I Jn Pratt of Earls Colne in the county of Essex blacksmith being weak in bodily health but of sound and perfect understanding praised be god do make this my last will and testament as followeth imprimis I give unto the sons and daughters of my daughter Eliz Clarke wife of Wm Clarke of Allthorn parish in the county aforesaid each of them the sum of 20s of good and lawful money of Great Britain to be paid them separately as they shall arrive to the age of 21yrs by my executor hereafter named item I give to my daughter Judith Pratt of Earls Colne aforesaid the sum of 40s a year of lawful money of Great Britain yearly and every year or 10s every three months so long as she please to demand it to be paid by my executor hereafter named item the rest or residue of my estate goods and chattels whatsoever or wheresoever except the farm called Christophers I give and bequeath unto my grandson Rich Pratt otherwise Morris of Earls Colne aforesaid blacksmith whom I do make sole executor of this my last will and testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal 9.12.1737 Jn Pratt sealed published and declared by the above named Jn Pratt for and as his last will and testament in the presence of us Jas Keyes Robt Mayhew jun Geo Fromont
