Thos Sannsonne holdeth of the lord as of this manor to him and to his heirs by copy of court roll by the lord's grant (425) one cottage builded upon parcel of the waste soil of this manor containing in length 7rod and in breadth 2rod the one head thereof abutting towards the north the other head thereof abutting towards the south and lieth between the lands of the Hayhouse of the one part towards the east and the highway there leading from Earls Colne aforesaid to Colne Park of the other part towards the west by fealty suit of court and by the yearly rent of payable as is aforesaid as appeareth in the court rolls of this manor 28Eliz1 and also holdeth to him and to his heirs by copy by virtue of the lord's grant another parcel of the waste soil of this manor lying in the chaseway leading towards the disparked park of this manor called Colne Park containing in length 6rod of assize and in breadth 4rod of assize with appurtenances in Earls Colne aforesaid that is to say at the east end of the messuage of the same Thos and to the free croft of Wm Fysher gentleman called Churchecroft against the south and to the highway there against the north and to the curtilage of the same Thos against the south by fealty suit of court and the yearly rent of payable quarterly as is aforesaid as appeareth at the court holden on the date hereof
