of Walsoken Norfolk yeoman was admitted tenant of the lord for himself and his heirs by the surrender of

his wife to one tenement and garden in the said Earls Colne late in the occupation of

The Smiths Forge
according as by copy of a roll of the same said court produced and clearly shown in this court now it is shown by the homage that after the last court and before this court the aforesaid

surrendered all and singular his premises with appurtenances into the hands of the lord by the hands of
Robt Cobbe
instead of the bailiff in the presence of
Israel Enewes
and
Jas Pennock
two customary tenants of this manor the same testifying according to the custom of the same manor to the use and behoof of
Robt Crowe
and his heirs forever provided always that if the said
Robt Crowe
his executors or assigns should pay or cause to be paid to the aforesaid

his executors or administrators the sum of 23li at upon or before michaelmas next following at the now dwelling house of
Wm Heyward
situated in Roydon Suffolk then this surrender should be void and of no force otherwise it should stand in full force and effect and should remain who the same said

present here in court was granted thereof seisin to hold for himself and his heirs upon the said condition to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he made fine and fealty and was admitted thereof tenant |
