and furthermore at this court it is shown by the homage that Joan Smyth alias Bayly wife of Thos Smyth alias Bayly daughter and one of the coheirs of Jn Leffingwell who held for herself and her heirs 4a of customary land more or less with appurtenances called Haynes and Clotes after the last court and before this court died thus seised thereof and that Jn Smyth alias Bayly is her son and next heir who present in court humbly sought admittance to whom the lord by his aforesaid steward granted and delivered thereof seisin by the rod to have the aforesaid 4a of land with appurtenances to the aforesaid Jn Smyth and his heirs forever to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord his and made fealty to the lord and was admitted thereof tenant
