whereas at a view with court here held 16.5.1630 Thos Machin was admitted tenant of the lord for himself and his heirs at the will of the lord to one close or parcel of arable land called Andrewes with appurtenances as by a roll of the aforesaid court it is clearly shown now at this court it is shown by the homage that the aforesaid Thos Machyn after the said court and before this court died thereof seised and that Jn Machyn is his brother and next heir upon which came here into court the aforesaid Jn Machin and humbly sought admittance to whom the lord by the aforesaid steward granted and delivered thereof seisin by the rod to have the aforesaid parcel of land with appurtenances to himself and his heirs forever to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord his fine but the fealty was respited because he was under age
