item it is shown that Jn Bridge who held for himself and his heirs one customary cottage lately built and 7a of land more or less called Tredgolds Fen parcel of certain lands called Tredgolds after the last court and before this court viz 2.4.1634 surrendered the aforesaid cottage and the aforesaid acres of land with appurtenances into the hands of the lord by the hands of Robt Crowe instead of the bailiff in the presence of Edw Cresner and Ambrose Waller two customary tenants of the aforesaid manor the same testifying according to the custom of the aforesaid manor to the use and behoof of Roger Harlakenden gentleman and his heirs forever to whom the lord by the aforesaid steward granted and delivered thereof seisin by the rod to have to him his heirs and assigns forever to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord his fine and made fealty and was admitted tenant
