the said Eliz to Glasiers | whereas at a court held for the said manor 12.6.1633 Jn Lucas Mary his wife and Mary Lucas eldest daughter of the said Jn and Mary were admitted tenants that is to say the said Jn and Mary his wife for the term of their natural lives and the said Mary the daughter to her and to the heirs of her body in remainder after the decease of the said Jn and Mary his wife the remainder to the heirs of the said Jn Lucas to a certain parcel of land called Glasiers containing by estimation 2a2r now at this court it was presented by the homage that the said Mary the mother divers years since died and that the said Jn Lucas did her survive and that the said Mary the daughter after died without heir of her body and it was further presented by the homage that the said Jn Lucas since the last court died thereof so seised and that Eliz now the wife of Thos Ball is sole daughter and heir of the said Jn Lucas which said Eliz being present in court desired to be admitted tenant to the same to whom the lord of the said manor by his said steward hath granted and delivered thereof seisin by the rod to have and to hold the said parcel of land with the appurtenances to the said Eliz her heirs and assigns forever of the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents and services due etc and the said Thos did give to the lord for her fine |
