(very poor page partly gist) whereas at a court here held saturday being 9.6.=Eliz1 Robt Reade was admitted tenant of the lord for himself and his heirs to one cottage# and one garden adjoining called Charles Paines lying in the said Colne viz between the cemetery of the church of the said Colne on one part towards the north and the kings highway on the other part towards the south one head thereof abuts (illegible from here) (cottage goes to Jn Reade son of Robt Reade probably on the death of the latter)
