it was shown by the homage that Robt Carter out of this court and after the last court surrendered into hands of the lord by the hands of Wm Dashe instead of the bailiff in the presence of Robt Rookes senior and Peter Gilotte customary tenants of this manor the same testifying according to the custom of the said manor his customary tenements called Cloviers with appurtenances to the use and behoof of his last will and testament and that the said Robt Carter is still living in full health
