at this court it is shown by the homage that Jn Potter senior being a customary tenant of this manor for himself and his heirs after the last court and before this court viz 23.5.1628 surrendered into the hands of the lord of this manor by the hands of Simon Ive instead of the bailiff in the presence of Edw Potter and Dan Lea two customary tenants of this manor the same testifying according to the custom of the said manor all that their customary lands held of the said manor called Dovehouse Field and Pondfield or by whatever other names they are called to the use of his last will and testament
